The Financial Director of Enguri HPP LLC, Irakli Inashvili, and the Technical Director, Paata Tsintsadze, attended a discussion held as part of the Economic Forum. Inga Pkhaladze, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, gave a speech at the event. Along with other speakers, the ministry representative spoke about the results achieved in the energy sector this year and the existing challenges.

 

In her speech, the Deputy Minister noted that energy is an integral part of the country's development process and accordingly plays an important role in achieving long-term goals relating to national security, economic development and social well-being. She added that more effective investment attraction, the rational use of local resources, and the deepening of strategic partnerships would enable Georgia to occupy a regional position that reflects its potential and strategic importance.

 

David Narmania, Chairman of the Georgian National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, Shota Berekashvili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Economic Policy Committee and Archil Gachechiladze, General Director of the Bank of Georgia, addressed the conference "Georgian Energy Policy 2025 – Summary and Expectations".
