Enguri HPP was represented at the event dedicated to Georgia's Independence Day
The country's energy sector celebrated Georgia's Independence Day in Akhaltsikhe. In connection with 26 May, information stands, exhibition pavilions and special areas for various activities were set up on the territory of Rabati.
The Independence Day event was attended by Levan Mebonia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enguri HPP, and Irakli Shengelia, Commercial Director, as well as heads of energy companies and representatives of local authorities. As part of the festive programme, a film dedicated to the 45th anniversary of Enguri HPP was shown in a special pavilion.
It is worth noting that this year, as usual, the Ministry of Economy and its agencies were represented in several regions in addition to the capital. Citizens who visited Ambrolauri, Mestia, Akhaltsikhe, Telavi, Poti, Gori and Zugdidi were able to review concepts developed in the fields of energy, tourism, entrepreneurship, innovation and technology, maritime, aviation and postal services. Participants heard about the achievements and future plans in these sectors.
