Enguri HPP hosted meeting with EBRD representatives

 

A meeting was held at the headquarters of the Enguri Hydropower Plant (HPP) with representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The delegation was received by Levan Mebonia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enguri HPP, and Malkhaz Tskvitishvili, Project Manager for the rehabilitation of the Enguri HPP and Vardnili Hydroelectric Plants Cascade.

The primary focus of the meeting was to review the progress of the ongoing rehabilitation project. Participants provided an overview of the current status and held discussions on the next stages of the initiative.

It is noteworthy that the current phase of the rehabilitation project is expected to be completed by the end of this year. In addition, discussions addressed the forthcoming final stage of the project, which will span a three-year period. This fourth phase will include the full rehabilitation of the drainage tunnel, major infrastructure repairs, and the execution of urgent and emergency works
