Representatives of Enguri HPP attended the Hydroenergy Congress and Exhibition for Central Asia and the Caspian Region

 

The 7th International Congress and Exhibition titled “Hydroenergy of Central Asia and the Caspian” was recently held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The event brought together high-level representatives from government agencies across the Central Asian and Caspian regions, as well as executives from operating hydroelectric power plants, partner companies, and investment firms.

Representatives from Enguri HPP were among the participants. During the congress, they held productive meetings with various European companies, discussing potential avenues for future cooperation and partnership in the energy sector.

The congress addressed a broad spectrum of topics critical to the region's energy future. Discussions included key challenges in the hydropower sector, strategic development priorities, and innovative solutions. The agenda also covered global trends in renewable energy consumption, regional energy security, investment strategies in Central Asian and Caspian countries, implementation of international energy cooperation programs, and major developments shaping the global and regional energy landscape.
